A delegation led by Prof. Hu Weixing, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Director of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Research Center at the University of Macau, recently met with the Macao SAR Government’s Policy Research and Regional Development Bureau (DSEPDR) to submit policy recommendations for Macao’s economic diversification plan.
The delegation, including Associate Dean Prof. Cai Tianji and postdoctoral researcher Dr. Duan Yuzhou, discussed the “1+4” economic diversification strategy with DSEPDR Director Zhang Zuowen and other officials. As Macao’s first dedicated Greater Bay Area think tank, the center combines policy advisory and academic research to support regional development.
